What are the Filter Championships?
The Filter Championships is the leading brewing competition across the UK & Ireland.
2025 Champion - Vincent Hashim
After a hugely successful 2025 season, the UKIFC will be returning for 2026 with heats across both the UK & Ireland.
One coffee will be used by all competitors for the duration of the competition, however competitors will be able to choose their preferred method of brewing - whether it’s a V60, or even a Cafetière, you will be brewing live on an upcoming festival stage.
The competition will be based on straight knockouts, winners picked by an expert judging panel, with the finals taking place on the main stage of Manchester Coffee Festival 2026!
Competitor Tickets
The UKIFC 2026 heats will be held in the following locations:
Southern Heat: 8 - 9 August 2026 at Brighton Coffee Festival (All Saints)
Northern Ireland Heat: 3 -4 October 2026 at Belfast Coffee Festival (Carlisle Memorial)
Northern Heat: 20 - 22 November 2026 at Manchester Coffee Festival (Bowlers Exhibition Centre)
The UKIFC 2026 finals will be held in the following locations:
Finals: 22 November (tbc) at Manchester Coffee Festival (Bowlers Exhibition Centre)
